Cancellation & Rescheduling
Your harmonisation date(s) are reserved specifically for your property. As projects are scheduled in advance and may require several consecutive working days, please only book dates that you are reasonably confident you can keep.
14-Day Cancellation Period
Where the statutory 14-day cancellation period applies, you may cancel your booking within 14 days of entering into the contract in accordance with your statutory consumer rights.
Changing Your Dates
I understand that circumstances occasionally change. One change of booking date may be made with more than 6 weeks' notice, subject to availability.
Further changes, or requests made within 6 weeks of your scheduled harmonisation, may incur a reasonable rescheduling charge to reflect costs and losses resulting from the change.
Cancelling After the 14-Day Period
If you cancel after any applicable statutory cancellation period, a cancellation charge may be deducted from payments already made to reflect costs and losses reasonably incurred as a result of the cancellation.
-
More Than 6 Weeks Before Your Date
Cancellation charge - Up to £250
-
Within 6 Weeks of Your Date
Cancellation charge - Up to £500
Where cancelled dates can be filled, this will be taken into account when calculating any cancellation charge.
Any refund due will be processed in accordance with your statutory rights and the Booking Terms & Conditions.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
This structure allows you to protect yourself against genuine losses while avoiding an automatic forfeiture provision; current CMA guidance says cancellation charges should reflect genuine losses and the reasonable steps a business can take to reduce them.
