Modern Technology & Environmental Wellbeing
Understanding the Modern Electromagnetic Environment
Technology has transformed the way we live.
Electricity, Wi-Fi, mobile communications, smart devices, Bluetooth, and connected systems are now woven into daily life. They govern how we work, communicate, travel, learn, and manage our homes.
Alongside this, some people have become increasingly conscious of the electromagnetic fields associated with modern technology and question how our changing electromagnetic environment may relate to comfort and wellbeing.
BioGeometry does not take an anti-technology approach. Instead, it considers technology as one influence among the many conditions that shape the places in which we live.
A Changing Landscape
The electromagnetic conditions of everyday life have changed considerably over little more than a century and continue to expand at an unprecedented rate, particularly with the growing infrastructure behind AI.
Homes that once contained relatively few electrical systems may now include:
- Electrical wiring and lighting
- Wi-Fi routers and connected devices
- Mobile phones and tablets
- Computers and televisions
- Smart meters and home automation
- Large electrical appliances
- Bluetooth and wireless accessories
- Mobile communication infrastructure beyond the home
These technologies exist alongside architecture, materials, location, natural surroundings, earth influences, water, human activity, and the many other factors present in a place.
Within BioGeometry, technological influences are considered as part of this wider environmental picture rather than as isolated factors.
Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity
Some people attribute symptoms or changes in wellbeing to electromagnetic fields or particular technologies. The term electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is commonly used to describe these experiences.
Reported symptoms can include:
- Headaches
- Sleep disturbance
- Fatigue
- Difficulty concentrating
- Perceived humming or buzzing
- Stress or heightened sensitivity
- Palpitations
- A general sense of discomfort or unease
These experiences can significantly affect those who report them. However, EHS is not currently recognised as a medical diagnosis based on an established causal relationship with electromagnetic field exposure. Controlled blinded studies, limited to measuring physical EMF exposure within a conventional biomedical framework, have not consistently demonstrated that the reported symptoms are caused by EMFs. However, these studies do not consider the subtle energy interactions that BioGeometry works with, which fall outside what mainstream EMF instrumentation can detect.
Anyone experiencing persistent or concerning symptoms should seek appropriate medical advice.
UK electromagnetic-field guidelines focus on measurable physical exposure, with limits designed to protect the public from established adverse effects.
BioGeometry approaches electromagnetic influences from a different perspective.
Conventional scientific assessment asks questions such as:
How strong is the field? What is the frequency? Is exposure within established limits?
BioGeometry asks a qualitative question:
How do these modern technological influences affect life?
Together, these approaches illustrate the distinction between measuring the physical characteristics of an influence and exploring its qualitative relationship with the wider environment and life.
Working Alongside Technology
The Swiss BioGeometry projects demonstrate this in practice.
Drawing on the Physics of Quality and using BG3 as its central reference for balance, BioGeometry works with these combined influences, seeking to support greater harmony without requiring modern technology to be removed or avoided.
These same principles can be applied at the scale of the individual home through BioGeometry Environmental Home Solutions.
A Personal Consultation About Your Home
If you're considering BioGeometry Home Harmonisation and would like to explore whether it is right for you and your property, you can book a personal consultation with me.
We'll discuss your home, what has brought you to BioGeometry, and any particular concerns or objectives you may have. I'll also explain how Environmental Home Solutions works and what would be involved for your property.
Consultation — £100
If you go ahead with your Home Harmonisation, the full consultation fee will be deducted from the final project price.
What Happens Next?
Following your consultation, I'll prepare a bespoke proposal for your property setting out the scope of the project, project duration and full cost, including any applicable travel expenses
You can then decide whether you would like to go ahead. There is no obligation to proceed.
