Inviting Calm Into Our Home: Our Experience with BioGeometry
I’ll be honest, before commissioning a BioGeometry practitioner to visit our home, I knew very little about BioGeometry at all.
I’ve always had an open mind when it comes to holistic or energy-based approaches, but this was something completely new to me. I first heard about it through a casual conversation with a friend, and something about the way they described their experience stayed with me. It planted a seed.
Our home sits within the M25, close to busy roads, flight paths and mobile masts - the sort of background hum you barely notice day to day, but which undoubtedly forms part of the environment we live in. Both my husband and I work from home, and with three children, our house is very much a lived-in, active, sometimes chaotic space. Because of that, the feeling of our home really matters to us. It’s our workspace, our family hub, and ideally, our sanctuary.
After some thought, we decided to invite Robbie Long, a BioGeometry practitioner with Angles for Life, to visit our home and assess how BioGeometry could support us. From the moment Robbie arrived, the process felt calm, respectful and considered. He took time to explain what BioGeometry is, not in an overwhelming or overly technical way, but in a way that felt grounded and accessible. It wasn’t about fixing something that was “wrong”, but about bringing the home into a more balanced, harmonious state.
Before doing any work, Robbie spent time getting to know us. He asked thoughtful questions about our family, how we use our space, where we work, sleep and spend the most time. It felt personal rather than prescriptive, which immediately put us at ease. This wasn’t a one-size-fits-all approach it was clearly about tailoring the work to our specific environment and lifestyle.
Then he got to work.
What surprised me most was how subtle yet immediate the results were. Visually, nothing had changed. The furniture was the same, the rooms looked identical. But the feeling in the house was noticeably different. There was a shift that’s hard to articulate unless you experience it yourself. The space felt calmer, softer, more pleasant to be in. Almost as if the background “noise” of the house had been turned down.
Over the following days, that feeling settled in further. Our home felt more balanced. Our family life, which can often feel rushed and chaotic simply by virtue of being busy, seemed to dial down a notch. There was a greater sense of ease in the space, not silence or stillness, but a gentler energy that supported us rather than competed with us.
For us, BioGeometry wasn’t about a quick fix or a dramatic transformation. It felt like an investment - in our home, in our wellbeing, and in creating an environment that supports a healthier, more peaceful way of living. In a world where so much feels overstimulating and externally driven, there’s something incredibly valuable about intentionally shaping the energy of the place you return to every day.
We’re still early in our journey with BioGeometry and are already recognising changes within our families wellbeing, and I’m genuinely excited to observe the longer-term effects over time. What I do know already is that our home feels more like a sanctuary and we are loving our home-time more in return - and that alone has been worth it.
